Competing in the Masters Division at the International Waterski and Wakeboard Federation (IWWF) Wakeboard World Championships on the irish wakeboard team. Up against some incredibly strong competition hoping for a ranking of top 15. The contest held on the phenomenal water-sports site at Lago Idroscolo in Milan, Italy from the 13th-18th july with 40 countries enterng over 250 competitors. The World Championships are held once every two years and this being the largest world wakeboard championship ever held.

Riders are competing for both individual and team ranking alongside seven other Irish team members from across ireland including fellow county men David Coates 2006 and Paul Johnston from County Down and Sian Hurst from County Fermanagh, Irish ladies champion as well as 4 other wakeboaders from Dublin. The event is pulled by the new Parks Bonifay Edition MasterCraft X-Star powered by the 400hp ilmor 6.0lt - http://www.mastercraft.com/company/news/527/
